Ranbir Kapoor is new brand ambassador of Nissan Motor Car

A Bollywood superstar Ms- Ranbir Kapoor has become the latest celebrity to join the Nissan Motor car endorsement bandwagon. He has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL).

According to a release, the three-year contract entails Mr. Kapoor to endorse the products and services of Nissan in India through promotion, advertising and marketing. Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director and CEO, said with the launch of the new Nissan Micra next month, Nissan would begin an exciting journey in India aiming to provide Indian customers with a full range of products and services.

Ranbir Kapoor said for media “I am an actor and have to concentrate on it. When a brand comes and thinks that I am responsible enough, and have some capability to sell their product, I am more than happy to do it. Of course they pay well," the actor quipped. Ranbir Kapoor is an extremely passionate, versatile and talented film star and he has shown his pedigree in a very short period. Mr. Ranbir Kapoor said I am happy to know that Nissan is very serious and commitment in their plans for India and they have an exciting range of products lined up beginning with the new Nissan Micra.

18 Jawans killed and 45 Jawans injured in Jammu & Kashmir

Today’s 18 Jawans killed and at least 45 Jawans injured in Jammu & Kashmir for an avalanche. This is big accident for Army soldiers . The avalanche occurred around 11.30 am on Monday at Khelanmarg nearby Gulmarg. Khelanmarg had established an advance camp at Gujjar Hut on Sunday, and 300 Army trainees, 100 trainers, 60 support staff and 50 civilians present out there. Gulmarg DIG said this is big accident in Khelanmarg. It is massive avalanche rolled down of the Khilanmarg Mountain and this is engulfing a high altitude warfare camp set up by the Indian army.
There were around 300 soldiers in this camp when the avalanche struck. Some injured army soldiers have been shifted to Gulmarg hospital for treatment.

New Delhi: Film Actor Chiranjeevi has finally decides, to quit for united Andhra Pradesh. The Party chief Ms- Praja Rajyam has set to resign as MLA on Wednesday in support of a united Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi has taken final decision he will support the Samaikya Andhra agitation in spite of threats to the film career of my son and other family members. If they want to attack me for being an artiste and a politician.
Wednesday morning Chiranjeevi announced that he would begin a hunger strike in support of "a United Andhra" at Tirupati on Thursday morning. That offer was quickly withdrawn when various pro-Telangana groups warned that no movies with any connection to Chiranjeevi would be screened in Telangana, a key territory for film distributors. Chiranjeevi has fought the Lok Sabha elections this year on a promise of statehood for Telangana. He had also expressed his support for a Telangana state at an all-party meeting before the Centre sanctioned the new state. His switcharoo is by no means the only one that's stumped Andhra. Chandrababu Naidu has also done a complete U-turn after close to 50 of his MLAs resigned in protest against the Centre said yes last week to a new Telangana state. Chiranjeevi mets MLAs from his Praja Rajyam Party (PRP); 16 of the MLAs from non-Telangana regions have resigned in protest against a government proposal to create a new Telangana state.

IIMS to review contract of US firm hints to Prometric

AHMEDABAD: The Indian Institute of Managements (IIMS) would review the contract of US firm hints Prometric, after large scale glitches in the first computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) across the country. This year Common Admission Test to the IIMs today dangled the offer of a possible retest for candidates who had good performance was affected by technical glitches that despoil in India. IIMS service provider, US-based Prometric, did not explain on what basis it would determine which candidates were adversely affected by the glitches - attributed to malware by the IIMs and the firm. Indian first computer-based CAT where test for a number of students had to be rescheduled due to 'virus attack' on computers in the initial days of the test which started on November 28. The computers which would be analysed and then the incidents would be reviewed for IIMS. Today’s statement is the first occasion that the CAT organisers have officially indicated a willingness to broaden the ambit of candidates they are willing to test again. The software used for the test by Prometric allows it to measure the exact time taken by each candidate to answer a particular question, to complete a particular section of the test and to complete the entire test. The IIMs have also decided to give an extra opportunity to students who could not take the test due to genuine reasons even after extending the test window period by a day on December 8, Director Samir K Barua said. The IIMs said they would review the five-year contract of Prometric in the light of the glitches.

India to clinch N-deal with Russia


New Delhi: Right now Indian Prime Minister Ms- Manmohan Singh is in Russia where he will be finalising a civil nuclear agreement that looks to be more beneficial than the Indo-US civil nuclear deal. India and Russia have reached a broad agreement to break the logjam over the protracted bargaining over the Gorshkov aircraft carrier. The nuclear agreement is also expected to warm up the Manmohan Singh-Vladimir Putin summit.
Both sides are expected to sign a landmark civil nuclear pact during summit talks between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. According to Sources are say this agreement is really the last lap in bilateral civil nuclear cooperation. The deal commits Russia to transfer sensitive enrichment and reprocessing technologies to India. India can help enrich Russian uranium upto 20 per cent and it also commits Russia to uninterrupted uranium supplies. In December 2008 India signed a contract with Russia for four more reactors at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu and recently identified a site in West Bengal's Haripur for Russian reactors. So Russia now leads the race to enter the Indian nuclear power market. India and Russia have good relationship. This relationship has got added momentum during your (Dmitry Medvedev) presidency and it's my sincere desire that in years to come our two countries should work closely with each other in dealing with our bilateral concern and global concern. And you have my assurance Mr. President that no other relationship which is of greater importance to India than the relationship with your great country.” Said India Prime Minister Ms- Manmohan Singh after arriving in Moscow on Sunday on a three-day visit. India Prime Minister Ms- Manmohan Singh will also be meeting Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin during his trip. The Prime Minister is making, his sixth trip to Russia since 2004 to till date.

Big Explosion in Russian night club At least kills 105 and 63 injured

New Delhi: Today’s Big Explosion in Russian night club At least 105 people kills and 63 person injured in this blast. Russian officials said its fireworks caused the blast and that most victims have died from smoke inhalation. There were over 210 people were in the Lame Horse night club when the accident happened. Authorities are accusing the nightclub owners of violating fire safety regulations. Perm city is the 6th largest city in Russia. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered the formation of a government commission to deal with the incident. A deadly train bombing last week killed 26 and injured over 100 on a luxury train travelling between Moscow and St Petersburg. Chechen Islamist militants claimed responsibility for this attack. A blast ripped through a packed nightclub in the Russian city of Perm. The Enforcement of fire safety standards in Russia is notoriously lax and in recent years there have been several catastrophic blazes at drug-treatment facilities and apartment buildings.

ULFA Chairman ready for talks with India

New Delhi: ULFA chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa is a founder of the United Liberation Front of Asom. Wednesday he has been arrested by the Bangladeshi authorities, says he is ready for talks with the Indian Government. Even as the ULFA top brass remains reluctant about brokering peace with the Government, Rajkhowa is expected to be flown in from Bangladesh. Arabinda Rajkhowa is expected to make a political statement soon, paving the way for initiating peace talks between New Delhi and the ULFA. Rajkhowa, who was arrested in Chittagong on Monday night by the Rapid Action Battalion, is expected to be handed over to Indian security forces. Sources have told CNN-IBN that Rajkhowa, along with ULFA Spokesperson Apurba Bora, will be flown into New Delhi in a special flight of the Border Security Force. Minister P Chidambaram's statement in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday that the ULFA may soon issue a political statement and if they offer talks, the Centre would be willing though the ULFA will first have to abjure violence.
The National Security Advisor had also said on Wednesday that the ULFA chairman had in all probability surrendered.
All this has led many to believe that the stage is being prepared for the peace process in Assam to begin once again. ULFA chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa has been arrested by the Bangladeshi authorities, says he is ready for talks with the Indian Government.
