Roshni Nadar the New Ceo of HCL corp:
Roshni Nadar the daughter of HCL founder Shiv Nadar she has been elevated as the Executive Director and CEO of HCL Corporation, the group's holding company for HCL Infosystems and HCL Technologies. The position of the executive director and CEO was hitherto held by Shiv Nadar.
She has nstead of making a constructive approach to the issue leading to a protection of the company in an overall manner, he chose to malign it.
Shiv Nadar however, will continue to be the chairman of the corporation and would focus on strategic issues. According to Mr Nadar she joined the company in April and was involved in the brand-building across the HCL group companies.

Henceforth, her role would be confined to just HCL Corp and she will not be involved in the day-to-day operations of the group's two publicly-held companies which are managed by a group of professionals. She would be in charge of the treasury operations and will be responsible for strategic decision making regarding overall future directions of the HCL Corp.
A trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which has established the not-for-profit SSN College of Engineering in Chennai, Roshni studied MBA in social enterprise management and strategy at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She loves to travel, enjoys yoga and is a trained classical musician. Roshni, who returned from the U.S. in October last, has since been involved with HCL Corp before taking over as the executive director and CEO.
Roshni has also got some exposure to TV journalism with Sky Television and had covered the U.S. attack on Iraq very closely in 2003. She has also been involved with Rajiv Gandhi Foundation to promote the education of the girl child amongst dalits and Muslims in backward areas of UP.

Ms Roshni Nadar will be responsible for strategic decision making at HCL Corporation according to a media release by company.

Mr Nadar will continue to head the corporation which is the investment company with controlling stakes in HCL Infosystems and HCL Technologies.
Shiv Nadar, who hails from Moolaipozhi village in the former Tirunelveli District of TamilNadu, founded HCL in the mid-1970s and transformed the IT hardware company into an IT enterprise over the next three decades by constantly reinventing his company's focus. In 2008, Nadar was awarded Padma Bhushan for his efforts in IT industry.
