Today’s 18 Jawans killed and at least 45 Jawans injured in Jammu & Kashmir for an avalanche. This is big accident for Army soldiers . The avalanche occurred around 11.30 am on Monday at Khelanmarg nearby Gulmarg. Khelanmarg had established an advance camp at Gujjar Hut on Sunday, and 300 Army trainees, 100 trainers, 60 support staff and 50 civilians present out there. Gulmarg DIG said this is big accident in Khelanmarg. It is massive avalanche rolled down of the Khilanmarg Mountain and this is engulfing a high altitude warfare camp set up by the Indian army.There were around 300 soldiers in this camp when the avalanche struck. Some injured army soldiers have been shifted to Gulmarg hospital for treatment.
